Heritage Oaks' Classic 18, a par-70 golf course, showcases elegant styling from the era of golf's greatest architects. Originally designed by Edward Dearie Jr. and planned by George L. Chamberlain in the 'Roaring 20s,' the course underwent significant renovation by Jacobson Golf Course Design in 2004 and again in 2020. The 2004 renovation focused on bunkers and greens, implementing modern drainage and erosion control techniques, while the 2020 renovation included a complete rebuild of the greens, new drainage infrastructure, and larger ponds for quicker reopening post-rain. This system also reuses rainwater for irrigation. Additionally, five tee options per hole, including new forward tees, were introduced to enhance player enjoyment and speed of play. The course is closed for the 2023 season but will reopen for the 2024 season.
