Rusutsu Resort Golf 72's Izumikawa Course is designed to reflect the region's natural beauty, featuring hilly terrain with minimal height differences per hole. It begins with a par-5 towards Tower Hotel and includes varied holes such as a short 6th with a pond view and a doglegged 9th. The back nine starts with a moderately elevated par-4, culminating in a dynamic 18th hole, over 50 meters wide. The course consists of 18 holes, par 72, with bentgrass greens, Kentucky bluegrass fairways, and 59 bunkers. Notable holes include No. 7 and 18 for long drives, and No. 6 and 16 for greenies. Carts with GPS and score tracking are available, but caddies are not. Amenities include a golf shop, dining at the Atrium, and the Westin Rusutsu Hot Spring. The course is open from late April through October, subject to weather, and closes on Tuesdays and Fridays unless these are public holidays.
